Chalk Paint® 101 – Workshop is designed for Chalk Paint® enthusiasts, both novice and experienced painters. This workshop will focus on how to create inspired looks using Annie Sloan products. Students will learn different applications of Chalk Paint® including, but not limited to, two colored distressed finish, mastering a smooth finish, creating texture, crackle using heat, dry brushing, and color washing. The waxing process will be reviewed to ensure that students can bring their pieces to completion. All techniques will be practiced using wood samples which the student will take home.

Chalk Paint® 102 – Workshop designed for painters familiar with the basic principles of using Chalk Paint®. It is recommended but not required that students take Chalk Paint® 101 prior to the class. Instructor will guide students through more advanced techniques using Craqueleur, Decoupage, and Gold Size.

Chalk Paint® Kitchen Facelift – Workshop designed for novice or experienced painters . Kitchen Facelift allows homeowners to update their kitchen cabinetry using Chalk Paint®. Students may bring one to two kitchen cabinet doors, depending on size, which will be completed during the workshop. The instructor will outline the process and provide detailed instructions. Students may then choose to complete remaining cabinets on their own or to return for multiple workshops as members of The Pittsburgh Paint Club*.

Chalk Paint® Bring Your Own Piece – Workshop designed for painters of all skill levels. Students are required to bring one, small piece of furniture to be completed during this three hour class. A nightstand, dining room chair, or small end table is recommended; student must be able to carry and easily transport the piece by themselves. Instructor will demonstrate to students, through hands-on practice, how to apply Chalk Paint® and complete the waxing process.
